近似值、估算Approximation & Estimation

近似值Approximation

四捨五入法是一種常用的取近似值的方法。

Rounding off method is a common method of taking approximate value.

步驟Steps:

1.   決定取值至哪一位。

Decide at which place to round off.

2.  留意該位的右一位。

Look at the digit to the right.

3.  若右一位的數為5或以上，取值的位的數加1。

If the right digit is 5 or larger, add 1 to the digit need to round off.

若右一位的數為小於5，取值的位的數不變。

If this right digit is smaller than 5 , the digit need to round off remains unchanged.

4.  把取值的位後的數變為0。

Change the digits to the right to zeros.
